Introducing the Xtranormal Business Platform

Xtranormal is now taking care of business.

We’ve heard you loud and clear for some time now, promoters and business owners — Xtranormal is a way for your brand, website, or organization to do things like ads, tutorials, training, or orientation videos at a fraction of the cost traditional methods would set you back, but commercial licensing and resale rights have been getting in the way.

It’s been tricky for all of us for sure. While we try hard to help out individual businesses or websites on a case by case basis, that’s not exactly the quickest route for anyone. And the number of people looking to advertise, promote, resell, or generally use their Xtranormal movies commercially has skyrocketed, likely due to huge companies like Geico and the New York Times using Xtranormal recently or great writeups in places like Advertising Age.

What you told us is that you needed a platform which brands, businesses, and movie resellers of all sizes could use to instantly get full commercial licensing and make movies for their needs, and this is exactly what we’ve launched.

Yep, cancel that small-shop commercial shoot which would have cost you thousands. Put down the phone for that video equipment rental. Don’t furrow your brow over the cost of that series of HR or Training videos for your company. Tell that team of marketers that you won’t need to invest countless hours in a new promo after all. We’ve got you covered.

Don’t read this wrong – our business subscriptions don’t just enable you or your business to get complete commercial or resale licensing of your work with the Xtranormal technology, the platform also provides everything you or your staff need to get started:

• Gain complete, fully-unlocked access to the Xtranormal service, meaning unlimited use of all actors, sets, and premium render features we offer. (Something that used to require tens of thousands of our Xtranormal Points to do.) Forget the cost of shooting one commercial or tutorial, you’re now free to storyboard, create, render, and repeat as much as you want. Get creative!

• You’ll now find the option to remove the Xtranormal watermark and post-roll branding previously included in distributed movies online, a huge request for advertisers up to this point.

• You can also customize your movies with premium render features. Insert logos, product shots, tutorial images, and more with our Inlays feature, use voiceovers or other audio instead of Text-to-Speech, and include Text segments anywhere you’d like. Again, for no added cost or need of Xtranormal Points in as many projects as you’d like.

• High-Quality downloads of the movies you publish are now available right from the Business dashboard. Take a higher-resolution version of anything you make and distribute it as you’d like, or use the movie file for further editing.

And of course, we’re just getting started here. We’ll be expanding the feature set in the future and applying Business access to our separate State animation software soon. There’s also a ton of interest in doing things like custom-branded actors or sets for companies, powering movie contests or other unique promotions with the Xtranormal movie maker, and even embedding and re-skinning our technology on others’ sites or promotions for super-engaging yet cost-effective efforts.

• Being a third party for hire to make movies and sell them to businesses via our Reseller plan (e.g. for any of the reasons above).
Not using your movies commercially? No sweat! Our regular movie making options are still intact, allowing you to have fun as always and use Xtranormal Points to have fun with what you make.
